World Animal Friends was founded in October 2010 , since then we have raised over £500,000 to help homeless cats and dogs abroad.
We help small animal shelters and individual animal rescuers by providing food, vaccinations, veterinary treatment and neutering. We have donated to buy replacement kennels and funded the cost of shelter repairs.
WAF has a particular focus on providing veterinary treatment for homeless animals that are sick or injured.
We have sponsored the cost of surgery to repair fractured limbs and broken jaws, eye removal surgery and amputations. We have also funded treatment for dogs with demodex and cats with severe respiratory viruses.
WAF has no paid staff, it is run by a handful of volunteers.
Every donation received is used for the direct benefit of homeless animals.
Please help us to continue our vital work by donating, sponsoring or by fundraising for us.
